One reported transfer target for Chelsea has claimed he has told one current player at the club that he would love to feature alongside him.
Mykhailo Mudryk has endured a fairly rough start to life at Stamford Bridge since joining in January of 2023.
Despite the fact that his performances drastically improved under the managerial stint of Mauricio Pochettino, he will now have to reset and go again under another new boss.
It is expected that Enzo Maresca will be announced as the new manager in the coming days, and all eyes have turned to which players the club will bring in to give him the best chance possible.
One player who has been previously linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Goergiy Sudakov, currently starring as part of the Shakhtar Donetsk side.
Georgiy Sudakov wants to play with Mudryk
The playmaker said in an interview to iNews that he has already been in contact with his international teammate about potential featuring alongside him in the future.
He said: “The beginning for him was quite tough, mentally and physically, but step by step he is getting there. When we play in the national team together I have seen how much he has grown as the season has progressed.
“I was telling Misha (Mudryk) about how much I want to play in the Premier League and how it would be great to play in the same team. Misha told me that I was not ready for the kind of pressure that happens in England and if I do come I need to be ready for that. But I am.”
Sudakov to cost £60m
It has been claimed recently that any move for Sudakov is going to cost a side a fair amount, with £60m being stated as a likely fee.
The Blues will likely be targeting other positions as a priority this summer, with the defence needing to be addressed off the back of the recent departure of Thiago Silva.
